The Valedictory Function for Grade X students 2022-23 batch was celebrated at the Global Academy For Learning on 23 February 2023. The members of the Management along with the Chief Guest Syed Sultan Ahmed, MD & Chief Learner at LXL Ideas and the teaching staff had gathered to bid a warm farewell to the batch of 2023.
The guests were ushered in with the lively notes by the school band. The occasion started with the lighting of the lamp and invocation song by our young artists, Vihaan on flute accompanied by Mayank on the Tabla.
The Principal of the school Smt. Rajeswari Sridhar, in her welcome speech, generously imparted her wisdom to grade X students and guided them towards the right path. She concluded by wishing them happiness and success in all future endeavours and inspired them to leave an indelible mark on society and make the school proud. The students were involved in worshipping Goddess Saraswathi, who is the goddess of culture, music, art and education to bestow her devotees with power of wisdom and learning.
The chief guest, in his speech, motivated the students to make discipline a priority in order to get ready for the fast-growing society. He emphasised that we should have the mindset to learn for the purpose of learning and not make it an obligation, followed by lighting the lamp of knowledge and seek blessings from the almighty and the elders present during the event.
The Vice-Principal, Ms.Pradyna Agawane, congratulated the students on completing the most crucial formative phase of their life and expressed her desire to see them distinguish themselves across various careers and fields.
The students were then presented with their Admit cards and mementos by the chief guest and the trustees. The students were invited on the stage to collect the same through short write-up describing their personalities based on their stint and interaction with the teachers , which made the nostalgic atmosphere a little light.
The school choir presented a rich and melodious performance accompanied by a Picture presentation of grade X students, with few wonderful moments spent at school. On behalf of the students of 2023 Batch, Avani and Yashas expressed their gratitude to the institution for having helped them evolve in totality.
The students of grade I to VIII put forth a graceful performance on a fusion song. A surprise dance by the teachers added more spark to the event.
The event was emotionally charged, and the program ended with the cutting of the cake.
